A pictorial diary of my walks around the parks and wild areas of Leicestershire, and occasionally farther afield.

If you're new to my blog, you might like to have a look at the pictures in the older post as well (click on button at the bottom of the page).

I am also a writer, using the pen-name John Gwynant, and I'll occasionally announce my latest book release on the blog.

Back to the car park - 27 Feb 2012

I returned to the watermead Car park yesterday, One of the early visitors was a grey Squirrel, although he never actually came to the feeding post. I guess it was just too close to the car for him.

Then Mr and Mrs Chaffinch took it in turns to visit, Neither stopped long enough for the Robin to bully them.

The robin was on and off the post all the time I was there, but having thrown off the food he didn't like and taken all the meal worm, he then had a search round below in case he'd dropped any.
